Senator Raffy Tulfo is saying farewell to his beloved mother Caridad Teshiba Tulfo who passed away on Tuesday.
In a touching open letter, Tulfo expressed his love and appreciation for his mother Caring, saying he owes everything to her.
“There are no words to describe how very thankful I am to you for bringing me into this world. I am not going to be who I am today if not for your love and care that you unselfishly showered upon me since the beginning of my life,” he said in a Facebook post.
“Paalam, Mommy. Mahal na mahal po kita!” He added.
The senator’s brother, House Deputy Majority Leader Erwin Tulfo, earlier confirmed the passing of Mommy Caring due to natural causes.
Mommy Caring’s wake will be held at the Sanctuarium in Quezon City starting August 28, with the burial set for September 1 at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City.
The family has requested donations for her favorite charitable institutions in lieu of flowers.
