LeAnn Rimes Joins Tom Jones For Her “Dream Duet” on ‘The Voice UK’

Viewers were blown away when LeAnn Rimes and Tom Jones performed together during a recent episode of The Voice UK.

During Saturday night’s episode of the UK singing competition, which featured the second round of blind auditions, two of this season’s judges treated viewers to a surprise performance. Legendary singer Tom Jones, 84, and country sensation LeAnn Rimes, 42, joined together for a beautiful rendition of The Everly Brothers’ “Let It Be Me.”

During a segment of the episode, Rimes asked Jones what he enjoys singing during his live shows. He responded, “I think once a hit, always a hit, you know, there is something in a hit song that remains that way. But I like to do a mixture of stuff.”

Rimes then confessed that she had always wanted to sing with Jones, leading them to decide on an impromptu performance together.

“Do you like The Everly Brothers?” Jones asked, to which Rimes replied, “I love The Everly Brothers.”

Jones suggested performing the 1959 classic “Let It Be Me,” and soon after, the two began their duet. Fellow judges Danny Jones, Tom Fletcher, and Will.i.am watched on, clearly in awe with the blend of Jones and Rimes’ vocals.

LeAnn Rimes shared the breathtaking duet on her official YouTube page, captioning the video, “Well, it looks like I got my dream duet… [Tom Jones], your voice is like no other.”
